Kampi ya Kanzi translated to Camp of the hidden treasure in Kiswahili is an award winning community project that embraces the principles of eco-tourism and the guests’ stay at the camp benefits the locals. The camp’s goal is to help the Maasai in preserving their wildlife and cultural heritage. Kampi ya Kanzi is located near the border of Tanzania in the chyulu hills area overlooking Mt. Kilimanjaro and bordering Tsavo west, chyulu and Amboseli National Parks.

Kampi ya Kanzi offers two forms of accommodation; the classic safari under canvas and a villa in the bush – Kanzi House. Kampi ya Kanzi can accommodate up to 16 guests in six thatched roof luxury tented cottages and in the Hemingway and Simba suites. The tented cottages and suites are separated from each other to ensure maximum privacy. Kanzi House accommodates a maximum of 10 guests, in 3 doubles rooms and 2 twins rooms. The house features a jacuzzi and a swimming pool and can only be reserved as a whole.
