The Village is situated on the island of Manda, which is the sister island to Lamu. The lodge is located on the beach front with amazing views of the open ocean, Lamu island, Shela village and dhows sailing past. It is the perfect place to come and relax for days or weeks, away from the stresses and strains of everyday life. Diamond Beach Village provides a wonderful base from which to explore the local scenery and also take in the colourful Lamu culture and people. Diamond Beach Village Accommodation
Diamond Beach Village has six beach bandas, a tree house and a small block house that are all traditionally designed with high windows, making them the ideal retreat from the African sunshine. Every banda has an en suite bathroom, front porch furnished with chairs and tables. All the rooms at Diamond Beach Village are provided with sheets, mosquito nets and towels as well as solar lighting. The tree house is built on three floors around a baobab tree and has a wooden veranda furnished with tables and chairs stretching around the tree. The small block house at Diamond Beach Village known as the Frangipangi House is perfect for a couple or a small family as it has a bedroom downstairs with a bathroom as well as another bedroom at the top floor with a veranda that is airy and a view to the ocean.
