Kizingoni House can be accessed via plane with flights from Nairobi to Lamu airport. The house has magnificent views of the west with beautiful sunsets and sea views and to catch the sea breezes throughout the year. It has a central living/dining room which is simply designed in the Swahili style with traditional plaster work and wooden beams, with a locally crafted dining table. A variety of water sports are available at Kizingoni House, including sailing, water skiing, wake boarding, windsurfing, snorkeling and kayaking.
Kizingoni House Accommodation
Kizingoni House has four spacious double bedrooms, all with bathroom en-suite and each with a private balcony with sea views. The large master bedroom’s spacious bathroom has a Swahili style bath and from the bedroom there is direct access to the rooftop relaxation area. There are four baraza areas located on the first floor. Two of the other bedrooms at Kizingoni House are furnished with double beds and one with twin beds. In addition, two swing beds adjacent to the master bedroom offer a special treat for sleeping under the stars. Kizingoni House has a private boat with a captain which allows you to explore the area’s marine life with ease and a chef and masseuse are also available to complete the holiday experience.
The house has four spacious barazas which are meeting areas located on the first floors and these are used for meetings and seminars while at the house.
