The Pepo House can be accessed via plane using Nairobi to Lamu flights from the Jomo Kenyatta International airport and a further 15 minute boat ride to the house. Kizingoni beach is a few miles from the Swahili museum that is in Lamu town. Kizingoni Beach is a holiday destination for adventure, sports and leisure. There are many activities one can get involved in while at the house and they include; excursions, water sports, safaris, sailing, fishing, swimming, walking and snorkeling.
Pepo House Accommodation
Pepo House has two en-suite bedrooms in which one is a twin room suitable for children and the other a double bed en suite guest room. On the first floor and to the second floor is a master bedroom with a private terrace offering great views of the sea and palm trees. There is a separate guesthouse alongside the main house that has two en suite double-bed guestroom plus a massage room that can be arranged accommodate an additional single guest. A fully equipped kitchen serves guests with well prepared international and local cuisines. While at Pepo House one can dine under the Makuti thatched pavilion or the inside dining area that is complete with concealed fridge and fitted drinks cupboard.
The house is suitable for weddings and events as it has large and spacious lush gardens that are used to host garden weddings, parties and cocktails within the compound.
