The lodge is set in a piece of land with acacia, coconut, mango, cashew and tamarind trees between Lamu town and Shella Village on Lamu Island. Shamba Viking is 10 minutes from the ocean, 20 minutes from Lamu town and 25 minutes from Shela Village.

Shamba Viking Accommodation
Shamba Viking lodge has 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and toilets, a kitchen and a living room. The lodge is designed to be climate adapted and Eco friendly. The bedrooms have single beds that may be placed single or together with mosquito nets to fit either choice. Each bathroom at Shamba Viking has hot and cold water with the wash basin carved out of a coconut tree trunk. Depending on person configuration and comfort preference, Shamba Viking can accommodate 1 to 6, 8 or 10 people.
