Shimba Hills Lodge
Shimba Lodge is located in Shimba National Reserve. It is at the heart of a tropical forest inhabited by the elephants, antelopes, giraffes, leopards, waterbucks, colobus monkey, fruit bats a wide variety of bird species and butterflies. It has a tree-level wooden walkway that extends from one end of the lodge to a platform high above the ground near a small clearing that allows for a panoramic view of birds, butterflies and other wildlife.

With 67 luxurious en suite rooms some with contorted tree trunks as the center piece and others commanding a view over the waterhole guests can enjoy from the comfort of their own rooms. The hotel has open fronted dining room which allows for unrestricted game and bird viewing at all times.
