Nestled on a hilltop in the middle of the beautiful Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, Kifaru House is secluded, quiet, elegant and simple, it offers an endless panorama of the surrounding countryside as well as distant views of Mount Kenya. The Lodge has been built with environmental protection in mind with recent installations of solar panels for electricity as well as water heating, an organic garden and water is recycled to irrigate the landscape. Kifaru house has a heated infinity swimming pool which is right next to a pool house with a sitting area, dining and bar area, massage rooms and shower facilities. Guests can convene in a spacious central building that houses the dining and sitting rooms with a fully stocked bar, two large fire places and plenty of places to curl up with a book.

Kifaru house can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests with each bedroom situated in a spacious banda. Each banda is equipped with a mini bar, cd player, WIFI and comfortable sitting and writing areas. They have en suite bathrooms with generous shower areas and a master banda with a bathtub outside and outside shower.
Guests are encouraged to plan their meals and activities that will suit them. Activities at Kifaru House range from Game Drives with guides who are experts in the flora and fauna of the area, bird watching, nature walks, bush breakfast and sun downers, horse back and camel riding, visits to archaeological sites as well as local villages.
