Kandili Camp
Hotel Overview
Kandili Camp is a brand NEW eco-camp overlooking the mottled plains of the Maasai Mara national reserve, a short walk away from the world famous Leopard Gorge, made popular by the BBC series of leopard documentaries. Kandili Camp previously known as Acaluma Camp is un-fenced and our guests enjoy a real immersion in nature with animals walking around freely in front of the tents. Kandili in Swahili represents the traditional paraffin lamps coming from the days of the first safaris and still very much in use in Kenya. These Kandilis give their name to the camp.
