Richard’s Private House Mara
Located on the banks of the Njageteck River in the Olare Orok Conservancy, bordering the Masai Mara National Reserve, Richard’s Private House camp is designed with privacy, exclusivity as well as adventure in mind, and promises a warm and memorable experience. Day and night game drives, escorted wildlife, birding and scenic walks, bush meals and sundowners, and cultural visits to a local Maasai village are things to do here. By advance request, scenic flights directly from camp with Richard Roberts as your pilot and guide (payable in camp), flying low over the game and landing on the Mara escarpment, hot air balloon flights, and scenic flights by helicopter or Waco bi-plane can be arranged.
Richard’s Private House Mara Accommodation
Richard’s Private House has five luxurious tents raised up on wooden platforms for that spectacular view. Each of the spacious tents has an ensuite bathroom with solar heated water, and large verandah on which to relax after a great excursion. Richard’s private is famous for its night noises considering there is a hyena den behind the camp, a resident pride of lions, and hippos grazing the lawn just after dark.
