Hotel Overview
Wilderness camp is located in the Maasai Mara 3 kilometers from the Sekenani at the foot of the hill by the valley. It is 6 hours drive from Nairobi and 2 hours from Narok town by road. It is surrounded by beautiful indigenous Acacia trees and set within the famous Maasai Mara known for the wildebeest migration. The camp enjoys stunning views of the nearby hills, plains and green vegetation and provides excellent camping sites and photography scenes for visitors.

Basecamp Explorer Wilderness Camp Accommodation
Wilderness camp has tents with beds, bathrooms inclusive of hot and cold showers and modern toilets. There are 21 spacious tents that can sleep a maximum of 40 guests. There is no main electricity and the camp’s lighting and water heating systems are powered by solar and generator. The camp also has safari/camping seats and an ample camping space for private tents. The camp has a spacious dining room linked to a kitchen that serves both local and international cuisine.
Conferences
The camp has a tented conference room that is furnished with video and audio equipment, flip charts, writing pads and pens. It is a 30 sitter room that can accommodate guests for meeting, conferences, seminars, cocktails, parties and other events.
